Day 1 - Mexico City

Arrival in Mexico City and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.


Day 2 - Mexico City

Breakfast. Departure for a city tour covering the most important points: Constitution Square known as Zócalo, surrounded by beautiful baroque buildings - including the Cathedral, the country's largest religious monument built over the most prominent Aztec temple; the National Palace, seat of the presidency of the Republic (visible only externally) and the Templo Mayor, the great temple of the Aztec capital. Continue to the Anthropology Museum and visit the Aztec hall. Upon completion, return to the hotel. Free afternoon. Accommodation.


Day 3 - Mexico City

Breakfast. Free day. Optionally, we suggest a visit to Teotihuacán and the Basilica of Guadalupe. Teotihuacán comprises three major buildings: the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Citadel, all built on the so-called "Avenue of the Dead". The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe is the largest pilgrimage center in Latin America. Accommodation.


Day 4 - Mexico City / Puebla / Oaxaca

Breakfast. Bus departure to Puebla with a visit to this city rich in colonial history. Famous for the church of Santo Domingo where the Rosary chapel is located, one of the greatest expressions of Mexican baroque art. In the afternoon, continue to Oaxaca. Arrival and accommodation.


Day 5 - Oaxaca

Breakfast. In the morning, visit the famous archaeological zone of Monte Albán, a ceremonial center located on a large esplanade atop a hill. Within its isolation, its grandiose ruins dominate the landscape. Visit several tombs and their mural paintings. In the afternoon, visit the city known as "The cradle of patriots". End with a visit to the market, one of the most typical in the region. Accommodation.


Day 6 - Oaxaca / Santiago de Matatlán / Tuxtla Gutiérrez

Breakfast. Departure to Santiago de Matatlán to visit a mezcal factory. Continue to Tehuantepec. Lunch. In the afternoon, continue to Tuxtla Gutiérrez, capital of the state of Chiapas. Arrival and accommodation.


Day 7 - Tuxtla Gutiérrez / San Cristóbal de las Casas

Breakfast. Transfer to the pier and boat ride through the Sumidero Canyon. Lunch. Transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Arrival at the hotel, free afternoon and accommodation.


Day 8 - San Cristóbal de las Casas

Breakfast. Visit the local market and the church of Santo Domingo. Visit the indigenous communities of San Juan de Chamula and Zinacantán. You can make your own tortilla and taste a typical drink. Free afternoon and accommodation.


Day 9 - San Cristóbal de las Casas / Palenque

Early departure to Palenque, with a stop in Ocosingo for breakfast at a local restaurant. On the way to Palenque you can admire incredible changes in the lush vegetation of this Chiapas area. During the journey, stop at the Agua Azul waterfalls and free time. Continue to Palenque, nestled in the heart of a tropical jungle. Arrival and accommodation.


Day 10 - Palenque / Campeche

Breakfast. Visit the archaeological zone of Palenque, within the Chiapas jungle. Among all its temples, the most important is the so-called Temple of Inscriptions where the tomb of King Pakal was discovered with his famous jade mask. Lunch en route to Campeche, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Arrival and accommodation.


Day 11 - Campeche / Uxmal / Mérida

Breakfast. Departure to Uxmal to visit this impressive archaeological zone, where you can admire the Pyramid of the Magician, the Nuns Quadrangle and the Governor's Palace. Lunch. Continue to Mérida, and visit the city known as the white city. Accommodation.


Day 12 - Mérida / Chichén Itzá / Riviera Maya

Breakfast. Visit Chichén Itzá, an archaeological site famous for its monumental pyramid, the Temple of Kukulcán. Lunch. Continue to Riviera Maya with a stop at Saamal cenote. End of circuit in the Puerto Aventuras area.

  • Day 12: The circuit ends in Riviera Maya (Puerto Aventuras) from where you will connect with a shared regular service transfer to the selected beach hotel.

  • On guided visits to archaeological sites included in the itinerary, the guide will be Spanish-speaking.
