Day 1 - Frankfurt
Arrival in Frankfurt and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2 - Frankfurt / Heidelberg / Freiburg
Breakfast. In the morning, departure for Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest university town, where we will visit its famous castle and take a stroll through its most iconic sites. Continue to Freiburg. Upon arrival, we will take a city tour. Accommodation.
Day 3 - Freiburg / Lindau / Kempten
Breakfast. Departure for the Black Forest and a visit to a small traditional farm, where we will enjoy a cheese tasting. Continue to the small island of Lindau, located on Lake Constance, which offers spectacular views of the Alps. Departure for Kempten. Arrival and accommodation.
Day 4 - Kempten / Neuschwanstein / Oberammergau / Linderhof / Ettal Abbey / Munich
Breakfast. We begin the morning with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the famous “Mad King.” Departure for Oberammergau, a village famous for its Passion Play and its handicrafts. In the afternoon, visit to Linderhof Palace and a brief stop at the Benedictine Abbey of Ettal. Continue to Munich. Accommodation.
Day 5 - Munich
Breakfast. In the morning, a tour of Munich to visit the most important sights, ending at the main square, “Marienplatz,” to admire the famous Town Hall clock. Dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 6 - Munich / Rothenburg ob der Tauber / Nuremberg
Breakfast. Departure for Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the most beautiful and oldest cities on the “Romantic Road.” Continue to Nuremberg, Bavaria’s second-largest city. Overnight stay
Day 7 - Nuremberg / Würzburg / Frankfurt
Breakfast. In the morning, tour of Nuremberg. Then, departure for Frankfurt with a stop in Würzburg, which marks the northern end of the “Romantic Road.” Transfer to Frankfurt Airport.
