CocoCay or Little Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, is one of the Berry Islands, a collection of cays and small islands, and is located approximately 55 miles north of Nassau. It is used for tourism by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd exclusively. Little Stirrup Cay is adjacent to Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruises' private island since 1977. In 2019, the island was extensively renovated by Royal Caribbean at the cost of $250 million USD. A pier was constructed on the north side of the island, which allows cruise ships to dock directly instead of using tenders. The east end is the center of recreational activities with beaches fronting a coral basin where manatee, rays, and numerous fish can be seen. Nature trails run the entire length and width of the island. The renovation also included a water park, with North America’s largest water slide, Daredevil’s Peak.

Nassau, on New Providence, is the capital of the Bahamas and features a mixture of colourful Neo-colonial 19th century buildings and modern hotel resorts. Nassau is situated on the northern end of New Providence, dominating the bay between the main island and Paradise Island. The vast majority of the country's population lives in Nassau on New Providence Island and in the Freeport area on Grand Bahama. Nassau features a mixture of colourful Neo-colonial 19th century buildings and modern hotel resorts. The colonial beauty of the Historical Town of Nassau is worth a visit. The pink Parliament Building, which has a statue of an enthroned Queen Victoria out front, is the most beautiful sight in Nassau. The Pirate Museum is also a major attraction in Nassau. The interactive museum tells of the history of pirates. The City of Nassau is landscaped in a beautiful tropical setting. Local foliage is purely enchanting and the array of tropical plants they have maintained here definitely add to the charm of the country. The Bahama Islands attract tourists with their favourable climate and laid-back way of life, their beautiful and colourful nature, their crystal blue waters and their friendly people.
