DAY 1 – PHNOM PENH
Arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia and differs from other Asian cities by its modernity combined with colonial touches.
DAY 2 – PHNOM PENH / KOH DACH / PHNOM PENH
Breakfast. Departure by ferry to the island of Koh Dach. Arriving at the island, we will take a tuk tuk to tour it. On the ride we will enjoy the rural landscapes of the area. Enjoy lunch in a traditional house. Return to Phnom Penh. Arrival and visit of the city, where you will visit the Royal Palace, which houses inside the silver pagoda. Visit the ancient pagoda of Wat Phnom, perched on a hill. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
DAY 3 – PHNOM PENH / BATTAMBANG
Departure to Battambang, the second largest city in the country. On the way we will make several stops: a local village and the hill of Oudong, current pilgrimage site. Visit the bat caves of Phnom Sampov, known for its numerous shrines and temples erected on the top of the mountain. Continuation to Battambang. Arrival, transfer to the hotel. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 4 – BATTAMBANG / SIEM REAP
Breakfast and visit of Wat Balat pagoda. Enjoy a tuk tuk ride through rural areas, see green rice fields and traditional houses. Participate in the daily life of the locals and have lunch in a local house. Finally, visit the Ek Phnom temple, built in the 11th century. Departure to Siem Reap, arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
DAY 5 – SIEM REAP
Breakfast. Visit the famous temple of Angkor Wat, an architectural work that impresses with its infinite details. Visit Banteay Srei, the so-called citadel of women, famous for its elegance, and the temple of Ta Prohm, spectacular temple that has been engulfed by the rainforest. Lunch. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 6 – SIEM REAP
Breakfast. Visit the northern part of Angkor: the temple of Preah Khan, built in 191, the temple of Neak Pean, located on top of an islet and the temples Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. In the afternoon, visit the Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Dinner with dance show. Accommodation.
DAY 7 – SIEM REAP / KOMPONG KLEAN / KOMPONG THOM / PHNOM PENH
Breakfast. Transfer to the floating village of Kompong Kleang, about 40 kms from Siem Reap. Take a local boat to navigate through the canals to the great lake. During the dry season (April to July), visit Kompong Thom. Departure to Phnom Penh, visiting en route the bridge of Kompong Kdei and the remains of the temple of Sambor Prei Kuk. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
DAY 8 – PHNOM PENH / SIHANOUKVILLE / KOH RONG SANLOEM
Breakfast. Transfer to Sihanoukville for departure by boat to the beach hotel. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
DAY 9 and 10 – KOH RONG SANLOEM
Days at leisure on bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 11 – KOH RONG SANLOEM / SIHANOUKVILLE / PHONM PENH
Breakfast. Transfer by boat to Sihanoukville. Arrival and departure by road to Phnom Penh airport for flight to next destination.
