DAY 1 – BEIJING
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Beijing, political and cultural center, has been the capital of China since 1270. This city of officials, scholars and soldiers is not comparable to any other in the world, because its plan was made thinking of the cosmic order, converging everything in its core: the “Forbidden City”. DAY 2 – BEIJING
Breakfast. Visit the famous “Forbidden City”, secular residence of the emperors of the Ming and Ping dynasties, which with its 9,999 rooms is considered the largest and best preserved architectural complex in the country; the Tian-an-Men Square, the largest in the world, and the Summer Palace, with the beautiful Kunming Lake inside. Lunch. Accommodation.
DAY 3 – BEIJING
Breakfast. Departure to visit the Great Wall of China, colossal work that with its more than 5000km crosses the country from the Bohai Sea to the Gobi desert. Lunch. On the way back to the city, stop near the Olympic emblems: the “Bird's Nest” (National Stadium) and the “Water Cube” (National Swimming Center). In the evening, you will enjoy a dinner of the famous Peking duck lacquered in a typical restaurant. Accommodation.
DAY 4 – BEIJING / XIAN
Breakfast. Morning visit of the Temple of Heaven, an interesting building object of study by numerologists and occultists, in which colors, shapes and sounds symbolize the duality of heaven and earth. At a time to be arranged, transfer to the station to take the train to Xian (approximately 5 hours trip). Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 5 – XIAN
Breakfast. Xian is the ancient capital of China, starting point of the famous “Silk Road”. You will admire the Mausoleum of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, which houses the amazing collection of terracotta warriors, thousands of soldiers in battle formation and life-size. Lunch. Continue to the Great Goose Pagoda (which you will see from the outside), located at the South Gate of the City Wall. Walk through the Muslim Quarter, a network of streets and stores reminiscent of an Arab souk. Accommodation.
DAY 6 – XIAN / GUILIN
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to depart on flight to Guilin. Arrival in the capital of the Guanxi region, famous for the beauty and uniqueness of its landscapes. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 7 – GUILIN / YANGHSUO / GUILIN
Cruise on the Li Jiang River, which will give you a landscape of curiously shaped peaks and green mountains. Picnic lunch on board, disembark in Yangshuo, an ancient village on the banks of the Lijiang River where you can stroll along the West Street which is a Chinese handicraft market. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 8 – GUILIN / HANGZHOU
Breakfast. Visit the Reed Flute Grotto, an impressive cavern with its forest of stalactites and stalagmites. Transfer to the airport for departure flight to Hangzhou. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 9 – HANGZHOU
Visit the “most elegant and sumptuous city in the world”, in the words of the famous traveler Marco Polo. Visit the West Lake, with its four islands and beautiful parks. Lunch. Visit the Temple of the Hidden Soul, with its impressive stone sculptures, and the Six Harmonies Pagoda (without climbing). Accommodation.
DAY 10 – HANGZHOU / SUZHOU
In the morning, transfer to the station for departure by train to Suzhou, the “Venice of the East”. After a trip of approximately 1 hour and a half, arrival, lunch and start the city tour: the Fisherman's Garden and Tiger Hill, with its traditional buildings reflecting the history of Suzhou. Accommodation.
DAY 11 – SUZHOU / SHANGHAI
Transfer to the station to take the train to Shanghai (45 minutes trip). Lunch. Arrival and climb the Jinmao Tower, a skyscraper over 400 meters high. From the observation deck you can enjoy an excellent panoramic view of Shanghai. Afterwards, you will take a walk along the Malecon, one of the most spectacular places in the city, where some of the most emblematic buildings of the city are located. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple and enjoy a stroll through the Old Town of the city. Accommodation.
DAY 12 – SHANGHAI

DAY 13 – SHANGHAI
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport for return flight. Overnight on board.
