DAY 1 – VANCOUVER
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 2 – VANCOUVER
City tour of Vancouver: the tour starts in Yaletown, passing through the exotic Chinatown, the largest in Canada. A few minutes from there, you will reach the oldest district of the city, the charming Gastown, with its famous steam clock and small stores, galleries and first class restaurants. Continue to Stanley Park, offering a wonderful view of the bay, the city and the coastal mountains. Stop to take pictures of some authentic Indian totem poles. At the exit of the park you can see the beach of English Bay, following the promenade to the Burrard Bridge. Enter Granville Island with its local handicrafts and the seafaring atmosphere in the small marina. Accommodation.
DAY 3 – VANCOUVER / VICTORIA / VANCOUVER
The day begins with a comfortable 1.5 hour ferry ride to Vancouver Island. Navigation through an archipelago of small communities, cottages, and if you are lucky you will see gray whales, orcas and seals close to the boat. Once on the island, the first visit will be to the beautiful Butchart Gardens. Continue to the city center, where you will have time at leisure to stroll through the streets of Victoria. The Fairmont Empress Hotel, facing the bay, is the most photographed building in Victoria, and don't forget to stroll along Government Street with original stores displaying their British-made products. At the end of the afternoon return to Vancouver by ferry. Accommodation.
DAY 4 – VANCOUVER / WHISTLER / VANCOUVER
Departure to Whistler on the “Sea to Sky Highway”. Passing through the village of Squamish, the tallest granite monolith in Canada rises majestically, the Stawamus Chief, better known as “The Chief” 700m high. Arrival to Whistler Village which has plenty of stores and restaurants. Time at leisure. In the afternoon return to Vancouver. Accommodation.
DAY 5 – VANCOUVER / CRUISE ALASKA
Breakfast. City tour: Yaletown, Chinatown, Gastown, Stanley Park, English Bay and Granville Island. Transfer to the cruise terminal to board the cruise ship MS Koningsdam of the Holland America Company. Accommodation on board.
DAY 6 – INSIDE PASSAGE
Day of navigation through the Inside Passage, sailing among forests, glaciers and villages full of history and culture. Accommodation on board.
DAY 7 – TRACY ARM / JUNEAU
Arrival in Juneau. Admire the Mendehall Glacier, the Nugget Falls and the Tongass Forest. Accommodation on board.
DAY 8 – SKAGWAY
Arrival in Skagway, located on the route of the Gold explorers who passed through the city to take the old White Pass train. Accommodation on board.
DAY 9 – GLACIER BAY
Sailing day in the Glacier Bay National Park. Experience how a monumental block of ice breaks away from the glacier and crashes into the sea. Accommodation on board.
DAY 10 – KETCHIKAN
Arrival in Ketchikan, a quiet village located on the shores of the Tongass Strait. Accommodation on board.
DAY 11 – INSIDE PASSAGE
Day of navigation through the Inside Passage, enjoying its marvelous natural scenery. Accommodation on board.
DAY 22 – VANCOUVER
Breakfast. Arrival in Vancouver at 8:30 am. Pick up at the cruise terminal and transfer to the airport.
