DAY 1 – SEOUL
Arrival in Seoul. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 2 – SEOUL / YONGIN / SEOUL
Breakfast. Start of city tour. Pass by Chungwa Dae, the President's residence, the Gyeongbok Royal Palace, Jogyesa Temple and Insadong Alley, a place for tourists who want to get to know the traditional Korean way of life. Afterwards, depart for Yongin, a Korean folk village. It's a living museum that reproduces ancient life. The village is home to potters, weavers, blacksmiths and other traditional craftsmen. Return to Seoul and accommodation.
DAY 3 – SEOUL / GONGJU / JEONJU
Breakfast. Transfer to Gongju, a city full of culture with a magnificent view of the Gyeryongsan countryside. Transfer to Jeonju. Visit to the village of Hanok, where you can learn about traditional Korean life. Dinner (not included) and then departure for Jeonju. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation.
DAY 4 – JEONJU / SUNCHEON / YEOSU
Breakfast. Visit to the city of Gwangju, which represents freedom and democracy for Koreans. Visit to the Suncheonman Bay National Garden. Since the opening of the Expo in 2013, this garden has become a major tourist attraction and was designated the first National Garden in 2015. Transfer to Yeosu, a city with a wonderful seascape. Arrival and accommodation.
DAY 5 – YEOSU / JINJU / BUSAN / GYEONGJU
Breakfast. Departure for Jinju, to visit Jinjuseong Castle. Continue to Busan, Korea's main port and second largest city. Visit to Jagalchi Market, one of the largest seafood markets in the country. Visit to Haeundae Beach, which is probably the most famous beach in Korea. The beach is known for its white sand which originates from the Chuncheon current. Continue to Gyeongju. Capital of the Shilla kingdom for a thousand years, it is home to historic buildings, temples and various artistic monuments. Arrival and accommodation.
DAY 6 – GYEONGJU / ANDONG / PYEONGCHANG
Breakfast. Visit to Bulguksa Temple, the most famous temple, testimony to the deep Buddhist faith and the skill of Korean architects of the time. Continue to Andong, to visit the village of Hahoe, an ancient village with a structure of houses from the Joseon dynasty. Arrival in Pyeongchang and accommodation.
DAY 7 – PYEONGCHANG / SOKCHO / SEOUL
Breakfast. Visit to Pyeongchang Stadium and Seoraksan National Park. The peaks of the Seoraksan mountains break through the clouds and the crystal-clear waters flowing through the valleys create a picturesque panorama that makes it Korea's most famous national park. Due to the many rare species that inhabit this place, UNESCO designated this national park as a Biosphere Preservation Area in 1982. In the afternoon, continue to Seoul. Arrival and accommodation.
**During the high season in October, Seoraksan National Park restricts the entry of buses and coaches. Therefore, it may not be possible to visit Seoraksan National Park at this time.
DAY 9 – SEOUL
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport.
