BEAUTIES OF THE PACIFIC AND ALASKA

DAY 1 – VANCOUVER 

Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.


DAY 2 – VANCOUVER 

City tour of Vancouver. The tour begins in Yaletown, to pass through the exotic Chinatown, the largest in Canada. A few minutes from there, arrival at the oldest district of the city, the charming Gastown, with an original steam clock and small stores, galleries and restaurants of first class. The Alaska cruise terminal, Canada Place, has become a symbol of the city with its white roof in the shape of five sails. A few minutes from the port, Stanley Park offers a wonderful view of the bay, the city and the Coast Mountains. Stop to take pictures of some authentic Indian totem poles. At the exit of the park you can see the beach of English Bay, following the promenade to the Burrard Bridge. Enter Granville Island with its local handicrafts and the seafaring atmosphere in the small marina. Accommodation. 


DAY 3 – VANCOUVER / VICTORIA / VANCOUVER 

The day begins with a comfortable 1.5 hour ferry ride (included) to Vancouver Island. Navigation through an archipelago with small communities, cottages, and if lucky, gray whales, killer whales and seals close to the boat. Once on the island, the first visit will be to the beautiful Butchart Gardens (included), the most famous gardens in America for their incredible variety of flowers and trees. Continuation to downtown, with time at leisure for an optional visit to the Royal British Columbia Museum (optional) with its exhibits dedicated to the history of the province and the indigenous communities. The Fairmont Empress Hotel, facing the bay, is the most photographed building in Victoria, and do not forget to stroll along Government Street with original stores displaying their products of British origin. In the late afternoon return to Vancouver via ferry (included). Accommodation. 


DAY 4 – VANCOUVER / WHISTLER / VANCOUVER 

Leaving Vancouver, enter one of the most recognized roads for its spectacular scenery: Sea to Sky Highway. The first stop will be at the impressive Shannon Falls, which, with its 333m drop, is the last step that the icy waters take before falling into the sea. Passing through the town of Squamish, the tallest granite monolith in Canada rises majestically, the Stawamus Chief, better known as “The Chief” 700 m high. Arrival to Whistler Village which has plenty of stores and restaurants that are a delight for the traveler looking for the most appropriate souvenir while admiring the scenery of the mountains. Time at leisure to enjoy the village. In the afternoon, return to Vancouver. Accommodation.


DAY 5 – VANCOUVER / ALASKA CRUISE

Transfer to the cruise terminal to board the Summit cruise ship of Celebrity Cruises. Accommodation on board.


DAY 6 – ALASKA INLAND PASSAGE

Breakfast. One of the most scenic sea routes in the world. Throughout the day, enjoy panoramic views of fjords, glaciers and the possibility of spotting whales, eagles and bears from the ship's deck. Accommodation on board.


DAY 7 – KETCHIKAN

Breakfast. The ship arrives in Ketchikan at 07h00, departing at 15h00. Known as the “Salmon Capital,” this town offers a combination of history and nature. Travelers can optionally explore Creek Street, a quaint floating district with stores and galleries, visit the Totem Heritage Center to learn about Tlingit Indian culture, or venture out on a floatplane tour to fly over the breathtaking Misty Fjords National Monument. There are also options for kayaking, salmon fishing and hiking through the Tongass rainforest. Accommodation on board.


DAY 8 – SITKA

Breakfast. Arrival of the ship is at 07h00 and departure at 15h30. This town, with a strong Russian influence, is home to the Sitka National Historical Park, where ancient totem poles carved by natives are found. It is also home to the Alaska Raptor Rescue Center. Accommodation on board.


DAY 9 – JUNEAU

Breakfast. The ship arrives at 07h00 and remains in port until 21h30, allowing for further exploration. Alaska's capital is famous for the Mendenhall Glacier, one of the state's most accessible natural wonders. From here, you can take helicopter tours to land on the glacier, go dog sledding or take the Mount Roberts Tramway funicular for panoramic views of the bay. It is also an excellent destination for whale watching in Auke Bay. Accommodation on board.


DAY 10 – ICY STRAIT POINT

Breakfast. Arrival at 07h00 and departure at 17h00. This remote location, near the fishing village of Hoonah, is known for its authenticity and natural beauty. Travelers can learn about Tlingit culture, ride the ZipRider, the world's largest zip line, or venture out on a marine safari to spot whales and bears. Accommodation on board.


DAY 11 – HUBBARD GLACIER

Breakfast. Day of scenic sailing on the Hubbard Glacier, the largest glacier in North America. At 122 kilometers long and 11 kilometers wide, this glacier is famous for its activity, allowing passengers to witness spectacular ice calving. From the ship's deck, seals can be seen resting on the ice floes and occasionally, bears on the shore. Accommodation on board.


DAY 12 – SEWARD / ANCHORAGE

Breakfast. Arrival in Vancouver at 08h30. Pick up at the cruise terminal and transfer to Anchorage airport.
