DAY 1 – COPENHAGEN
Arrival and transfer on your own to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 2 – COPENHAGEN / AARHUS
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the capital of Denmark, to appreciate its ancient architecture, the Nyhavn district and harbor. In this thousand-year-old city, its historical charm offers at the same time everything you expect from a modern metropolis: theaters, museums, restaurants, stores... Other points of interest that you will pass by are the Amalienborg Palace, home of the royalty of Denmark, the Christianborg Palace where the Danish Parliament is located, the National Museum of History or the Stock Exchange building, among others. To finish the tour, you could not miss the very famous and well known ‘Little Mermaid’. Departure to Aarhus taking the ferry in Odden. Accommodation.
DAY 3 – AARHUS / HIRTSHALS / NIGHT CRUISE
Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic tour of Aarhus. Its strategic location made it an important Viking city, and later a flourishing commercial center. Stop at the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral. Time at leisure to continue discovering the city on your own. In the afternoon, departure to the north of Denmark to reach Hirtshals to take an overnight cruise to Norway. Dinner and accommodation on board.
DAY 4 – STAVANGER
Breakfast on board and disembarkation. Morning sightseeing tour to discover the charming old town of Stavanger. Rest of the day at leisure. We recommend one of two optional activities: either a 3-hour cruise on the Lyse Fjord, which will bring you close enough to one of the fjord's waterfalls to feel the spray and then see the Pulpit towering above all the other breathtaking scenery; or, the combination of cruise and climb (travelers choosing this option will not be able to take the morning walk around Stavanger). Accommodation.
DAY 5 – STAVANGER / BERGEN
Breakfast. Ferry from Mortavika to Årsvågen and from Sandvikvåg to Halhjem. Arrival in Bergen and time at leisure for lunch. In the afternoon, panoramic tour of Bergen with local guide to see the most emblematic places of the city, including the famous fish market and the Hanseatic Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accommodation.
DAY 6 – BERGEN / FJORD OF DREAMS / FJORD REGION
Breakfast. Optionally, on this day, there is the possibility to take a spectacular train ride, ascending almost 900 meters with incredible views of the fjord. Departure to the fjord region to Flåm, a well-known village on the banks of the fjord, and embark on a cruise that will take you through the fjord of dreams (Sognefjord). Then, continuation to the accommodation in a rural area surrounded by nature. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 7 – FJORD REGION / OSLO
Breakfast. Continuation of the route through mountains, valleys and incredible landscapes with numerous villages scattered in the nature, taking the corresponding connecting ferries, and you will see outside the church of Borgund, a wooden church dating back to 1,180 AD. In the afternoon, continuation to Lake Tyrifjord and arrival in Oslo. Accommodation.
DAY 8 – OSLO / KARLSTAD
Breakfast. Guided tour of Oslo including Frogner Park with the Vigeland sculpture complex, passing by the town hall, the royal palace, and the modern opera house. Time at leisure for lunch. In the afternoon, departure to Sweden. Arrival in Karlstad, located in the delta formed by two of Sweden's great natural waterways: the Klara River and the impressive Lake Vänern. Accommodation.
DAY 9 – KARLSTAD / STOCKHOLM
Breakfast. In the morning, short walk with the guide through the center of Karlstad: the Almen district with its wooden houses, the statues of Duke Karl and Eva Lisa Holtz, and Stora Torget, the main square, which brings together all the life of the city and the cathedral. Departure east to the beautiful Swedish capital, Stockholm, built on 14 islands. Panoramic city tour with local guide, visiting the old town or “Gamla Stan” with its network of small squares and cobbled streets, and see the exteriors of the Royal Palace, the cathedral and the parliament. Accommodation.
DAY 10 – STOCKHOLM
Breakfast. Day at leisure to continue discovering Stockholm, with the possibility of optional excursions. Accommodation.
DAY 11 – STOCKHOLM
Breakfast. Time at leisure until transfer on your own.
