Day 1 Rincón de la Vieja
(35 km) Arrival at Liberia airport, formalize your rental contract, and depart for your next destination. Overnight stay.
Day 2 Rincón de la Vieja / Bijagua
(100 km) Breakfast. We recommend visiting the section of Rincón de la Vieja National Park known as Las Pailas. The area spectacularly showcases the awesome power of the Rincón de la Vieja volcano, the largest and most active volcano in the region. After your visit, continue your journey from Rincón de la Vieja to Bijagua, a small town nestled between two volcanoes, Miravalles and Tenorio. Overnight stay.
Day 3 Bijagua
Breakfast. Free day. We recommend an optional hike to Río Celeste, the stunning "clear blue river." Its stunning azure waters, a rare natural wonder, create an unforgettable sight. As you follow the winding river path, immerse yourself in the serenity of the lush surroundings and discover the steaming hot springs. Overnight stay.
Day 4 Bijagua / Monteverde
(110 km) Breakfast. Departure for Monteverde, a place of cloud forests, mist, coffee plantations, and friendly people. Arrival and free time. We recommend the optional canopy and hanging bridges excursion or an interesting coffee tour. Overnight stay.
Day 5 Monteverde
Breakfast. Free day. We recommend visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, renowned for its incredible biodiversity. It has four ecological "life zones" with different ecosystems and hundreds of species of mammals, birds, butterflies, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and arachnids, as well as a wide variety of flora, such as mosses, vines, and native cloud forest trees. Overnight stay.
Day 6 Monteverde / Manuel Antonio
(190 km) Breakfast. Drive to the Quepos area, home to one of the most visited National Parks in the country, Manuel Antonio National Park. Arrival and free time. We suggest an optional catamaran excursion or ocean kayaking. Overnight stay.
Day 7 Manuel Antonio
Breakfast. Free day. We recommend visiting Manuel Antonio National Park. Manuel Antonio is a great place for taking photos or simply admiring the stunning views, as well as sloths, birds and reptiles, wild orchids, butterflies, and tropical vegetation. You can also take advantage of the afternoon to experience the excitement of an exciting kayak or catamaran tour. Overnight stay.
Day 8 Manuel Antonio / Liberia
(270 km) Breakfast. Drive to Liberia Airport. Arrival and return of the rental car.

General Rental Car Conditions

Not included:
• Damage to third parties or the rental vehicle due to negligence or improper driving.
• Loss or damage to antennas, jacks, triangles and safety vests, windshield wipers, gas tank cap, luggage covers, or any other fixed or movable component of the vehicle.
• Engine damage due to negligence.
• Theft of the vehicle if the keys were in the ignition at the time of the theft.
• Damage to the vehicle or to persons caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Fines for violating traffic regulations during the rental period are the responsibility of the vehicle driver. In the event of a fine, an administrative fee will be charged.
• Any additional equipment (GPS, child seat, etc.)
• A fuel deposit of USD 100 will be refunded upon return of a full tank.
Important Notes
• Car type: Daihatsu Bego (Group A, Standard category), Suzuki Grand Vitara (Group B, Superior category), Toyota Fortuner (Group C, Deluxe category), or similar.
• The minimum age to rent a vehicle or be a driver is 21 years old.
• All drivers must hold a valid driver's license.
• The person signing the contract must have an international credit card, Visa, MasterCard, or AMEX.
• Car pick-up at Liberia Airport is Monday to Sunday, from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pick-up outside of these hours is subject to a surcharge.
• Accidents/thefts must be reported within 24 hours of the incident.
• If the customer returns the vehicle before the return date agreed upon in the rental contract, the car rental company will not refund the amount for unused days.

• Please note that local conditions at the time of travel may result in changes to tour content without prior notice.
• For self-guided tours, you must pay admission directly at the reception desk of each park or attraction.
