Day 1 Bucharest
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Depending on arrival time, short city tour. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 Bucharest / Sibiu / Sighisoara
Breakfast. Departure for Sibiu with a stop to visit the XIV century Cozia Monastery, one of the oldest historical and artistic complexes in Romania. Arrival in Sibiu. Lunch. In the afternoon, tour of the old town. Departure for Sighisoara, birthplace of the famous Vlad the Impaler, known to all as Count Dracula. Accommodation.
Day 3 Sighisoara / Targu Mures / Gura Humorului
Breakfast. Guided tour of Sighisoara, the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval city in Romania. Continuation to beautiful Targu Mures for a short panoramic tour of the city, famous for its squares surrounded by Secession buildings, including the Town Hall and the Palace of Culture. Lunch en route. Continuation to Bucovina, famous for its beautiful landscapes and monasteries. Visit to the Voronet Monastery from 1488, considered the Sistine Chapel of Eastern Europe. Arrival in Gura Humorului and accommodation.
Day 4 Gura Humorului / Monasteries of Bucovina / Piatra Neamt
Breakfast. Visit to Moldovita Monastery, dating from 1532, surrounded by fortresses and with exterior frescoes. Afterwards, visit to Sucevita Monastery, known for its fresco “The Ladder of Virtues.” Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, visit the XVII century Agapia Monastery, famous for its museum with its beautiful icons and embroideries. Arrival in Piatra Neamt, a city that is also called the Pearl of Moldavia due to its beauty and position. Accommodation.
Day 5 Piatra Neamt / Bran / Brasov
Breakfast. Departure for Brasov. Visit Bran Castle, known as Dracula's castle. Lunch. Continuation to Brasov, one of the most fascinating medieval cities in the country. Accommodation.
Day 6 Brasov / Sinaia / Bucharest
Breakfast. Departure for Sinaia, “the pearl of the Carpathians.” Visit to Peles Castle, former royal residence. Continuation to Bucharest. Lunch and city tour. Visit the Palace of Parliament, the second largest civil building in the world after the Pentagon in Washington. Dinner at a restaurant with drinks included and folklore show. Accommodation.
Day 7 Bucharest
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport.
