Day 1 Zagreb
Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 Zagreb / Ljubljana / Postojna / Zagreb
Breakfast. Departure for the neighboring state of Slovenia and arrival in Ljubljana. Visit to Ljubljana with a local guide, during which you will see: the historic center, the Town Hall, Robba's fountain, the three bridges, the university, and the cultural center. Departure for Postojna. Lunch not included. Aboard a small train, you will discover the caves with their marvelous stalactite and stalagmite formations. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 Zagreb / Plitvice / Zadar
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the Croatian capital with a local guide. Zagreb has several beautiful Gothic and Baroque churches and palaces, including St. Stephen's Cathedral, St. Mark's Church, and the Convent of St. Clare, which houses the city museum. Departure for Plitvice, arriving after midday. Lunch included. Afternoon dedicated to visiting the National Park, whose sixteen lakes are connected by 92 waterfalls and cascades. Walk along the trails that skirt the lakes and waterfalls. Return to the park exit. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 Zadar / Split / Dubrovnik area
Breakfast. Departure for Split. Visit to Split, the capital of Dalmatia, with a local guide. Lunch not included. Time at leisure in Split. In the afternoon, continuation to Dubrovnik. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 Dubrovnik
Breakfast. Visit with a local guide to the city of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will see: the cathedral and the old pharmacy of the Franciscan monastery. Lunch not included. Rest of the day at leisure to walk around the walls surrounding the city (entrance not included) and to stroll around Dubrovnik. In the evening, enjoy a beautiful folkloric dinner. Accommodation.
Day 6 Dubrovnik / Pocitelj / Medjugorje / Mostar Region
Breakfast. Departure for Bosnia-Herzegovina. Stop at the picturesque Turkish village of Pocitelj and Medjugorje, a famous pilgrimage site. Continuation to the city of Mostar. Lunch not included. Guided tour of Mostar, a city between two cultures: East and West. Walk through its narrow streets, markets, and the Old Bridge (Stari Most), which, after being destroyed during the war in 1993, was later rebuilt by UNESCO. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 Mostar Region / Zadar / Zagreb
Breakfast. Departure for Zadar. Arrival and then visit the city with a local guide. The city was the administrative center of Byzantine Dalmatia. In the XVIII century, it achieved fame throughout Europe for the famous liqueur it produced, Maraschino, which was served at all the tables of kings, tsars, and heads of state of the time. Continuation to Zagreb. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 Zagreb
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
