Day 1: San José
Arrival at the airport at least 2 hours before departure. Check-in formalities and departure on flight to San José. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2: San José / Tortuguero (Full board)
Very early departure to Tortuguero National Park. Breakfast during the journey near Guápiles and continuation to the boarding dock. Two-hour boat ride through the Tortuguero canals, with the opportunity to observe a wide variety of flora and fauna during the journey. Arrival at the lodge and lunch. In the afternoon, visit to the village and beach of Tortuguero. Dinner at the lodge. Accommodation.
Day 3: Tortuguero (Full board)
Breakfast. In the morning, free time to walk along the hotel trails and appreciate the local flora and fauna. Lunch. In the afternoon, boat tour through the canals to explore the great diversity of exotic flowers, butterflies, caimans, iguanas, etc. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: Tortuguero / Arenal (Half board)
(180 km) Breakfast. Transfer to the dock and departure by boat to Guápiles. Arrival and lunch. For passengers with rental car, pick-up of the vehicle, contract formalization and departure by car to Arenal, where the volcano rises over a landscape of great beauty. Arrival and accommodation.
Day 5: Arenal
Breakfast. Free day. Optional excursions available. We suggest a horseback ride to La Fortuna Waterfall or a visit to the hot springs. Overnight.
Day 6: Arenal / Guanacaste
(180 km) Breakfast. Departure to Guanacaste, located on the North Pacific, a destination famous for its beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Arrival and free afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 7: Guanacaste
Breakfast. Free day. Accommodation.
Day 8 – Guanacaste / San José / Portugal
Breakfast. Departure to San José airport. For clients with rental car, drop-off at the rent-a-car office in Belén and transfer to the airport. Check-in formalities and departure on return flight to Portugal. Night on board.
