Day 1 Los Angeles
Arrival in Los Angeles and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2 Los Angeles
Breakfast. City tour: Beverly Hills, Hollywood Boulevard with its legendary Chinese Theatre and the famous Hall of Fame, downtown, the financial district and the Mexican neighborhood. In the afternoon, departure for the coast to take a tour of the city's most famous beaches including the famous Santa Monica and Venice Beach.
Day 3 Los Angeles / Las Vegas
Breakfast. Departure for Las Vegas. Arrival and free time. Accommodation.
Day 4 Las Vegas / Grand Canyon
Breakfast. Visit to the south part of the Grand Canyon, one of the most impressive wonders of the world, the result of millions of years of erosion, wind and water. Accommodation.
Day 5 Grand Canyon / Monument Valley / Page
Breakfast. Departure along the scenic route Desert View Drive, continue to Monument Valley and visit this famous desert 40 kilometers long and 25 wide. In the afternoon, stop at Lake Powell, the largest artificial lake in the country, and the Glen Canyon Dam. Accommodation.
Day 6 Page / Antelope Canyon / Bryce Canyon
Breakfast. Departure for Antelope Canyon, the result of thousands of years of slow erosion where light creates wonderful effects. Then, departure for Bryce Canyon, discovered by the Mormons in the 19th century. The shapes and brilliant shades of the Pink Cliffs stone change continuously, from dawn to dusk.
Day 7 Bryce Canyon / Valley of Fire / Las Vegas
Breakfast. Departure for the Valley of Fire, with its red sandstone formations. Continue to Las Vegas, world capital of gambling. Free time. Accommodation.
Day 8 Las Vegas / Death Valley / Mammoth Lakes
Breakfast. Crossing the Nevada desert, arrival at Death Valley, approximately 97 meters below sea level. Visit to Furnace Creek and the Stovepipe dunes. Continue to Mammoth Lakes. Accommodation.
Day 9 Mammoth Lakes / Yosemite / Modesto
Breakfast. Departure for Yosemite National Park. Discover Half Dome, Yosemite Valley, Bridalveil Falls and Yosemite Falls. In the afternoon, departure for Modesto crossing Central Valley. Accommodation.
Day 10 Modesto / San Francisco
Breakfast. Departure for San Francisco and panoramic tour of the city: the financial district, Union Square, Chinatown, and crossing the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge to the picturesque village of Sausalito, on the other side of the bay. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 11 San Francisco
Breakfast. Free day. Accommodation.
Day 12 San Francisco / Monterey / Carmel / Lompoc
Breakfast. Departure for Monterey. Visit to the village and stop in Carmel. Continue to Lompoc. Accommodation.
Day 13 Lompoc / Santa Barbara / Los Angeles
Breakfast. Departure for Santa Barbara and visit to this coastal village with Spanish colonial architecture. Continue to Los Angeles, with free time in Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Accommodation.
Day 14 Los Angeles
Breakfast. Transfer to Los Angeles airport.
Remarks:
- Day 8: in case of high temperatures, the visit to Death Valley will be replaced by a visit to an old silver mine or the ghost town of Calico. If the Tioga Pass on the way to Yosemite is closed, accommodation will be in Bakersfield instead of Mammoth Lakes.
- In some hotels, breakfasts can be served in individual to-go boxes.
