Day 1 San José

Arrival at San José airport and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2 San José / Tortuguero

Early morning departure by road to Tortuguero National Park. Breakfast en route near Guápiles. Continue to the pier. Two-hour boat ride through Tortuguero channels to observe a wide variety of flora and fauna along the way. Arrival at accommodation. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit to Tortuguero village and beach. Dinner. Accommodation.

Day 3 Tortuguero

Breakfast. In the morning, free time to walk the hotel trails and appreciate local flora and fauna. Lunch. In the afternoon, boat tour through the channels to see the great variety of exotic flowers, butterflies, caimans, iguanas and much more. Dinner. Accommodation.

Day 4 Tortuguero / Arenal

(180 km) Breakfast. Transfer to the dock and boat departure to Guápiles. Arrival. Lunch. Car rental pick-up, contract formalization and departure by rental car to Arenal. Arrival. Accommodation.

Day 5 Arenal

Breakfast. Free day. We suggest a horseback ride to La Fortuna Waterfall or a visit to the hot springs. Accommodation.

Day 6 Arenal / Monteverde

(120 km) Breakfast. Departure to Monteverde, located in the north-central mountains. Accommodation.

Day 7 Monteverde

Breakfast. Free day. We suggest a guided visit to Monteverde Reserve or a canopy tour and suspended bridges experience. Accommodation.

Day 8 Monteverde / Rincón de la Vieja

(140 km) Breakfast. Departure to Rincón de la Vieja, a place of nature among waterfalls, tropical forests and natural hot springs. Accommodation.

Day 9 Rincón de la Vieja

Breakfast. Free day (Rincón de la Vieja National Park closed on Mondays). Accommodation.

Day 10 Rincón de la Vieja / Guanacaste

(70 km) Breakfast. Departure to Guanacaste, on the magical North Pacific coast, a destination famous for its beaches and relaxed atmosphere. Accommodation.
