Day 1 - Portugal / Mexico City
Check-in at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Boarding formalities and departure on flight to Mexico City. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2 - Mexico City
Breakfast. Visit to the historic center, highlighting the Zócalo (main city square), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace. Afterwards, stop at the Anthropology Museum, a place that preserves Mexico's indigenous legacy. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Bellini, the only revolving restaurant in Mexico City, with incredible panoramic views. Then, stop at Garibaldi Square, a very popular place to enjoy mariachis accompanied by traditional dances. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 3 - Mexico City / Xochimilco / Coyoacán / Mexico City
Breakfast. Departure to Xochimilco. Upon arriving at the tranquil waters of its canals and floating gardens, enjoy a picturesque cruise on a traditional trajinera. Continue to Coyoacán, a place known as a source of inspiration for various artists. Visit the area of 16th-century mansions and the Church of St. John the Baptist. In the same neighborhood, visit the Frida Kahlo Museum, known as "The Blue House" where the world-famous Latin American artist lived. Return to Mexico City. Accommodation.
Day 4 - Mexico City / Teotihuacán / Mexico City
Breakfast. Departure to the "Plaza of the Three Cultures", site of the largest market in pre-Columbian Mexico, Tlatelolco, from where you'll have a panoramic view of the esplanade and archaeological zone. Continue to the Basilica of Guadalupe, Mexico's largest religious sanctuary. Departure to Teotihuacan "the place where the gods arise". In the archaeological zone, highlights include the Pyramid of the Moon and the impressive Pyramid of the Sun. Free time. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 5 - Mexico City / Cancún
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport for flight to Cancún. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 6 - Cancún / Río Lagartos / Valladolid
Breakfast. Departure to Río Lagartos for a boat ride through the mangroves to observe flamingos, crocodiles and different species. At the end, visit a cenote with free time for a swim and, afterwards, continue to Valladolid and walking tour of the city. Accommodation.
Day 7 - Valladolid / Chichén Itzá / Izamal / Mérida
Breakfast. Visit to Chichén Itzá, one of the most important Mayan archaeological sites. Continue to Izamal to explore this magical town that combines pre-Hispanic past, colonial heritage and present. In the afternoon, departure to Mérida and brief tour of its historic center. Accommodation.
Day 8 - Mérida / Uxmal / Campeche
Breakfast. Departure to Uxmal and visit to this Mayan archaeological site declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the Cocoa Museum, where the importance of this plant for the ancient Mayans will be explained. Departure to Campeche. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 9 - Campeche / Palenque
Breakfast. Panoramic visit of Campeche and continue to Palenque, a bastion of the Ch'ol Mayan people, located in the state of Chiapas. Accommodation.
Day 10 - Palenque
Breakfast. Visit to the archaeological site of Palenque, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So far, more than 200 structures have been unearthed, including the Temple of Inscriptions, the Palace, the Temple of the Count and the Temple of the Cross. Accommodation.
Day 11 - Palenque / Becán / Chetumal
Breakfast. Departure to the archaeological site of Becan, an interesting ceremonial center and city of the ancient Mayans. Continue to Chetumal. Arrival and accommodation.
Day 12 - Chetumal / Bacalar / Tulum / Cancún
Breakfast. Visit to the town and lagoon of Bacalar, commonly known as the "Lagoon of Seven Colors" due to the distinct shades of blue in the water. Departure to Tulum, a place of great visual impact where ancient ruins are juxtaposed with turquoise waters and white sand beaches. Transfer to the selected hotel in Cancún. Accommodation.

Day 15 - Cancún / Portugal
