Day 1 - Mexico City

Arrival in Mexico City and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2 - Mexico City

Breakfast. Departure to the historic city center for a panoramic city tour, ending at the Anthropology Museum with a visit to two of its halls. Free afternoon. Accommodation.

Day 3 - Mexico City / Querétaro / San Miguel de Allende (Half Board)

Breakfast. Departure to Querétaro and panoramic visit of this beautiful viceregal city. Lunch. Continue to the museum-town of San Miguel de Allende. Panoramic visit of its harmonious historic center. Accommodation.

Day 4 - San Miguel de Allende / Dolores Hidalgo / Guanajuato

Breakfast. Departure to Dolores Hidalgo to pay tribute to two great icons: Don Miguel Hidalgo Costilla and José Alfredo Jiménez. Continue to Guanajuato, panoramic city tour. Accommodation.

Day 5 - Guanajuato / San Luis Potosí / Zacatecas

Breakfast. Departure to San Luis Potosí, Mexico's quintessential Porfirian city. Panoramic visit and free time. Departure to Zacatecas, arrival and accommodation.

Day 6 - Zacatecas

Breakfast. In the morning, cultural visit of the city touring its main attractions. Free afternoon, we recommend visiting some of its museums. Accommodation.

Day 7 - Zacatecas / Tlaquepaque / Guadalajara (Half Board)

Breakfast. Departure to Tlaquepaque, picturesque village with cobblestone streets. Lunch. Continue to Guadalajara. Arrival and city tour, starting from the Cabañas Cultural Institute with a panoramic walking tour. Free afternoon to continue enjoying the capital of mariachi and tequila. Accommodation.

Day 8 - Guadalajara / Pátzcuaro / Morelia

Breakfast. Departure to the State of Michoacán. Stop in Tzintzuntzan, Purépecha capital. Continue to Pátzcuaro, a magical town of Mexico, and panoramic city tour. Continue to Morelia. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 9 - Morelia / Mexico City (Half Board)

Breakfast. Panoramic visit of Morelia. Lunch. Continue to Mexico City. Arrival and accommodation.

Day 10 - Mexico City

Breakfast. Free day, possibility to do optional activities. Accommodation.

ABOUT THE DESTINATION: Oaxaca City is a beautiful colonial city with charming cobbled streets, gallery-lined walkways, lively squares and colourful markets. It is a cosmopolitan city, full of excellent restaurants and a vibrant nightlife, yet very traditionally Mexican, featuring Mexican folk art all around. The main Zocalo or square is a gorgeous and bustling place to hang out and enjoy the region’s unique and fantastic food in one of the sidewalk cafes. Around the Zocalo there are many fine crafts stores and markets. The church of Santo Domingo is a stunning historical church and a glorious example of Baroque architecture, blending Spanish and indigenous influences to spectacular effect. Next to it, we find the Museo de las Culturas de Oaxaca, a museum of regional history and culture.Near Oaxaca City we find Monte Alban, one of the most impressive ruins in Latin America. The surrounding landscape, a set of spectacular mountain scenery, part of Mexico’s central volcanic belt, is, as well, worth exploring. Don’t miss out, Oaxaca City is one of Mexico’s most bewitching places.
