Day 1 - Guatemala City
Arrival in Guatemala City and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2 - Guatemala City / Iximché / Chichicastenango
Breakfast. In the morning, brief panoramic tour of Guatemala City: National Palace, Cathedral and Civic Center complex. Continue to the archaeological site of Iximché for a visit and then departure to Chichicastenango. Accommodation.
Day 3 - Chichicastenango / Quetzaltenango
Breakfast. Visit the colorful open-air market and the Church of Santo Tomás, where you can witness the ceremonial rituals that take place on the church steps. In the market, hundreds of indigenous people arrive from different surrounding villages to sell and exchange their products, placing themselves in small spaces. In the afternoon, visit the Church of San Andrés Xecul and continue to Quetzaltenango. Accommodation.
Day 4 - Quetzaltenango / Lake Atitlán
Breakfast. Visit the valley of Zunil and Almolonga. Continue to Sololá to visit the market. In the afternoon, transfer to Panajachel (Lake Atitlán). Accommodation.
Day 5 - Lake Atitlán / Antigua
Breakfast. Boat departure to visit the picturesque village of San Juan la Laguna. In the afternoon, transfer to Antigua. Accommodation.
Day 6 - Antigua / Guatemala City
Breakfast. In the morning, visit Antigua Guatemala, the most important and charming colonial city in Guatemala, a beautiful combination of ruins, restored colonial buildings and new buildings with colonial style. It was declared "Monument of the Americas" in 1965. Upon completion, return to Guatemala City. Accommodation.
Day 7 - Guatemala City / Cobán
Breakfast. Departure to Alta Verapaz. Visit Finca Aurora to learn about the Guatemalan coffee process from plant to final production, touring coffee plantations and drying and roasting areas. The experience also includes a tour of the orchid garden, where you can appreciate a wide variety of native and exotic orchids in a natural environment dedicated to their conservation. Continue to Cobán. Accommodation.
Day 8 - Cobán / Semuc Champey / Cobán
Breakfast. Early departure to Semuc Champey, a natural enclave recognized for its impressive beauty whose main attractions are the limestone terraces over the Cahabón River that form a series of natural pools. Return to Cobán. Accommodation.
Day 9 - Cobán / Copán
Breakfast. Departure to the Honduran border. Border formalities and continue to the Copán area. Visit this unique archaeological area in the Mayan world, which preserves in perfect condition burials, stelae, pyramids and ball games. Accommodation.
Day 10 - Copán / Quiriguá / Río Dulce
Breakfast. Return to Guatemalan territory and visit the archaeological site of Quiriguá. In the afternoon, continue to Río Dulce. Accommodation.
Day 11 - Río Dulce / Livingston / Flores
Breakfast. Pick-up at the hotel to begin a boat tour along the majestic Río Dulce. During the crossing, enjoy tropical landscapes, mangroves and numerous islands that serve as refuge for aquatic birds such as herons. The route includes the impressive view of the Río Dulce canyon and a brief stop in Livingston to learn about Garifuna culture. Continue by boat to the Río Dulce bridge, with views of the historic San Felipe Castle. Upon completion, transfer to Petén. Accommodation.
Day 12 - Flores / Ceibal / Flores
Breakfast. In the morning, visit Ceibal, an ancient Mayan empire settlement consisting of an extensive ceremonial center, known as the Mayan art gallery. Lunch. Return to Flores. Accommodation.
Day 13 - Flores / Yaxhá / Topoxté / Flores
Breakfast. Visit Yaxhá, a spectacular Mayan city where the sacred lagoon stands out. Lunch. Continue to Topoxté, a post-classic period city located on one of the islets of Lake Yaxhá. Return to Flores. Accommodation.
Day 14 - Flores / Tikal / Guatemala City
Breakfast. Visit the Mayan city of Tikal, undoubtedly the best exponent of classic Mayan culture. Lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Guatemala City. Accommodation.
Day 15 - Guatemala City
Breakfast. Transfer to Guatemala City airport.
