ABOUT THE DESTINATION: Palma de Mallorca, the vibrant capital of Spain’s Balearic Islands, is a city where beach life, history, and Mediterranean charm blend effortlessly. Just a short walk away, the Royal Palace of La Almudaina and the labyrinth of narrow streets in the old town reveal Palma’s layered past—from Moorish rule to medieval Christian reconquest. Palma is also a city for leisurely discovery. Get lost in the historic quarter among honey-colored stone buildings, hidden courtyards, and boutiques tucked into centuries-old houses. Pause in a traditional café for an ensaïmada, the island’s famous spiral pastry, or sample fresh seafood and tapas at the lively Mercat de l’Olivar. As evening falls, the city’s terraces fill with people enjoying a glass of local wine or a gin and tonic while the sun sets over the bay. Beyond the urban core, Palma offers easy access to some of Mallorca’s most beautiful beaches and scenic routes. A short drive or bus ride brings you to sandy coves with turquoise waters, while inland roads lead to charming villages such as Valldemossa and Deià in the Tramuntana mountains. ABOUT THE DESTINATION: Valldemosa is a beautiful village located 17 km from Palma, on the beautiful Balearic island of Mallorca, in the middle of the valley of Sierra de Tramuntana, around 400 metres above sea level. It’s a picturesque place and part of the village goes up into the mountain slope, creating steep streets and beautiful natural miradors. All the town is surrounded by lush forests, with olive and almond trees that are irrigated by the abundant springs in the area. La Cartuja, the most emblematic monument of this town, is a must see for every visitor. This ancient monastery, has an important historic legacy, as well as accounts from two remarkable visitors: Frederic Chopin and George Sand, are preserved in cloisters, cells, gardens and museums. These memorials include scores, pieces of writing, fittings and correspondence related to their stay in the island, in addition to the "Pleyel" piano. In memory of the outstanding polish composer, concerts are celebrated in the cloister and in the gardens of the Carthusian Monastery during the summer. From Valldemossa, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sierra Tramuntana, or go to the nearby towns of Deià, Sóller, Banyalbufar, or Santa Maria del Camí.

ABOUT THE DESTINATION: Alcudia is a town in the north of the island of Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands off the Spanish east coast. Alcudia has an impressive historic quarter formed by Renaissance and ancestral homes and roman ancient archaeological sites. The old town is surrounded by old medieval walls dating from 14th century and inside you’ll find beautiful picturesque alleys, two medieval gates, some small museums, a nice church and remains of an old roman town, including a roman Amphitheatre from 1st century BC. There are also numerous small cafes and restaurants. Close by there is Port d’Alcudia, a major summer resort with lots of hotels and numerous restaurants around the marina and beautiful white-sand beaches. The port covers a vast bay, a long beach stretches to the resort of Can Picafort. In the background, the marshland area of Albufera is a nature reserve. Cap de Formentor, an amazing place, is also nearby.

ABOUT THE DESTINATION: Cala d'Or is a town and resort area in south-east Mallorca. Very scenic and the town center is connected to several coves. The coves have charming little beaches that are surrounded by woodland and cliffs and the water is wonderfully clear and inviting, and ideal for swimming on a warm summer's day. It is one of the nicer resorts along the east coast and it is great for a relaxing holiday. Cala d'Or has some lovely beaches and good restaurants and is lively at night. It has something for everybody. It is a great holiday spot for families and also for young couples or singles, with some good bars and clubs that stay open late also. It’s a great base from which to explore Majorca or to simply stay in and relax!

ABOUT THE DESTINATION: Colonia de Sant Jordi is a quiet and laid-back resort on the south east coast of Majorca. The coastal area of Colonia de San Jordi, with its small islands and its wonderful sandy beaches and beautiful vegetation is bathed in crystalline waters to the delight of visitors. This town is bounded on two sides by beaches and is the main gateway to the rocky island of Cabrera. It has some of the most famous beaches on the island of Mallorca, such as Es Trenc , Es Dolç and Es Carbo, large, with fine sand, clear water and blue Caribbean colors. Colonia de Sant Jordi is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
