Day 2 San José / Tortuguero
Early departure by road to Tortuguero N.P. Breakfast en route near Guápiles. Continue to the dock to navigate by boat through the canals among lush tropical flora and fauna. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, visit the charming village of Tortuguero and its Turtle Museum, where the little ones will enjoy learning about these fascinating creatures. During hatching season, they can watch the hatchlings run to the sea. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 Tortuguero
Breakfast. Day dedicated to enjoying nature. In the morning, walk the hotel trails to observe birds and tropical plants. Lunch. In the afternoon, navigate the canals to admire butterflies, caimans, iguanas and monkeys in their natural habitat. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 Tortuguero / Arenal
(180 km) Breakfast. Transfer by boat and road to Guápiles. Lunch. Car rental pick-up. Continue to La Fortuna, where Arenal volcano sleeps. Arrival and accommodation.
Day 5 Arenal
Breakfast. Visit to Mistico Park to walk the hanging bridges that cross the rainforest. Walk among the treetops to discover toucans, sloths and monkeys. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 6 Arenal
Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the hotel facilities or do optional activities such as a walk along the lava trails, a horseback ride, a boat safari on the Peñas Blancas river or something more relaxed like a visit to the hot springs. Accommodation.
Day 7 Arenal / Manuel Antonio
(240 km) Breakfast. Departure to Manuel Antonio. En route, it's possible to make a stop at the bridge over the Tárcoles river, home to one of the world's largest crocodile populations. Continue to the Pacific coast. Arrival and free time. Accommodation.
Days 8 and 9 Manuel Antonio
Breakfast. Free days to enjoy Manuel Antonio National Park (closed Tuesdays), with its gently rolling beaches and impressive biodiversity. You can also visit Uvita and Marino Ballena Park, where it's possible to observe whales, dolphins and sea turtles. Accommodation.
Day 10 Manuel Antonio / San José
(155 km) Breakfast. Return to San José. In the capital you can visit the National Museum or a butterfly garden, ideal for family enjoyment. Accommodation.
Day 11 San José
Breakfast. Return of rental car at the airport.

- Planned hotels or similar: Hotel selection will depend on the category booked. The accommodations indicated are referential and may be replaced by others of equivalent category. Final hotel confirmation will be informed once the reservation is made.
Car Rental Conditions:
- The minimum required age for the driver is 21 years and it is essential to hold a driver's license with a minimum of one year of experience and validity of 6 months before its expiration. Passengers under 25 years must pay a fee of 10 dollars per day, direct payment at destination.
- Planned car: Toyota Corolla Cross 4x2 / Suzuki Vitara 4x4 or similar.
- The customer must present the following original documents: valid passport, valid driver's license and hold an international credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express). It is necessary to present a physical card, virtual format cards will not be accepted.
- Mandatory insurance not included in the price. It must be paid at destination directly to the rental company at the time of contract formalization together with the mandatory security deposit of 800 dollars. This amount may vary depending on the vehicle category chosen.
- Possibility of contracting full coverage insurance for 9 dollars per car per day to add to the mandatory insurance on all models. In this case the security deposit is reduced to 100 dollars.
- A pre-loaded Liberty SIM card is included, with instructions and ready to use, which includes a local phone number, 4 GB of Internet, 70 minutes of local calls and 70 SMS, in addition to unlimited use of WhatsApp, Waze, Twitter and YouTube. If you wish to opt for GPS, there is no additional cost, but it must be requested in advance and is subject to availability.
- The car must be returned to the rental company at the same time as its pick-up to avoid additional charges.
- The rental car price does not include mandatory basic or full coverage insurance, excess, gasoline, cost of baby seat or mandatory booster up to 12 years, charge for return or delivery at different points in the country and security deposit for the car.
- Driving by unlisted persons, fines and any negligent conduct indicated in the rental contract are the sole responsibility of the driver or rental contract holder.
- The availability of any specific brand or model of car is not guaranteed. In case of unavailability of the indicated models, one with similar characteristics will be delivered.
- The car is received with a full fuel tank and must be returned in the same conditions or pay the amount for a full tank.
- Vehicle delivery planned in San José or Guápiles (Tortuguero) and return planned at San José airport (Belém office). Consult supplements for pick-up and return at different points.
