DAY 2 - GUATEMALA CITY / CHICHICASTENANGO / LAKE ATITLÁN
Breakfast. Departure to the interior of the Guatemalan highlands. Visit to Chichicastenango, where every Thursday and Sunday one of the most renowned and picturesque indigenous markets in Latin America takes place. Afterwards, a corn tortilla workshop will be held with local women. After the visit, continuation to Lake Atitlán. Accommodation.
DAY 3 - LAKE ATITLÁN / SAN JUAN LA LAGUNA / SANTIAGO ATITLÁN / LAKE ATITLÁN
Breakfast. Navigation on Lake Atitlán visiting the Tzutuhil village of San Juan La Laguna on the shores of the lake. Continuation to Santiago Atitlán, a village inhabited by Tzutuhil indigenous people who live from fishing and handicrafts. Accommodation.
DAY 4 - LAKE ATITLÁN / IXIMCHÉ / ANTIGUA
Breakfast. Departure to Antigua to visit the archaeological site of Iximché, former Mayan capital of the Cakchiquel kingdom. Upon our arrival in Antigua, visit to this colonial city declared a World Heritage Site. Accommodation.
DAY 5 - ANTIGUA

DAY 6 - ANTIGUA / PETÉN
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport for boarding the flight to Flores. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
DAY 7 - PETÉN / TIKAL / GUATEMALA CITY (HALF BOARD)
Breakfast. Visit to the Mayan city of Tikal, jewel of the classic Mayan world. Lunch. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport for boarding the flight to Guatemala City. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 8 - GUATEMALA CITY / PORTUGAL
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport for boarding the return flight. Night on board.
