Day 1 Portugal / Malta
Check-in at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Boarding formalities and departure by plane to Malta. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and free time. Accommodation.
Day 2 Malta / Gozo / Malta
Full day to visit the island of Gozo. You will be impressed by the greenery of its rural landscape, its serenity and the contrast with bustling Malta. Visit to the megalithic temples of Ggantija, the oldest buildings of this type in the world. Next, visit to the citadel in Victoria and the Xlendi cove. Return to Malta. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 Marsaxlokk / Blue Grotto
Departure to the idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its colorful luzzus, typical Maltese fishing boats, lined up across the bay complementing the popular open-air market held along the promenade. Continuation to Wied Iz-Zurrieq, to take a boat trip to the Blue Grotto, known for its crystal-clear waters (the price of the boat trip is not included and is subject to weather conditions). Next, discovery of one of Malta's small and hidden villages, walking through the labyrinth of narrow streets along the way. Accommodation.
Day 4 Valletta
Visit through the vibrant streets of Valletta to discover the charm and beauty of this fortified city. The visit starts from the Upper Barrakka Gardens where you can admire the panoramic view of the Grand Harbour. Visit to St. John's Cathedral and the oratory. On the way to Republic Street, contemplation of the Grand Masters and St. George's Square. The visit ends with an audiovisual show where you can learn more deeply about Malta's history through the centuries. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 5 Mdina
Departure to the central part of Malta dominated by the medieval fortress of Mdina, the island's ancient capital. Its narrow streets will lead you to the imposing bastions. Leaving Mdina through the Greek Gate, stop at the Christian catacombs in Rabat, before departing to the Dingli cliffs. After lunch (not included), visit to the San Anton Gardens, located near the Presidential Palace. A final stop at the Ta' Qali craft center and conclusion at the Mosta church to contemplate one of the largest domes in Europe. Accommodation.
Day 6 Vittoriosa / Cospicua / Senglea
Discovery of the Grand Harbour area opposite Valletta known as the Three Cities: Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea. After strolling through its narrow streets, embark on a dghajsa, a typical Maltese boat to take a mini cruise around the colorful coves of the Grand Harbour with incredible views. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 7 Malta
Day at leisure in Malta. Accommodation.
Day 8 Malta / Portugal
At the agreed time, transfer to the airport for boarding on return flight. Arrival.
