DAY 1 – BARCELONA / KITTILÄ / LEVI
Arrival at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Boarding formalities and departure by flight to Kittilä. Lunch on board with beverages included. Arrival and transfer by bus to Levi, located 15 minutes from the airport. Levi is the perfect destination for active travelers. The mountain located in the town is 531 meters high and is the largest ski resort in Lapland with 43 slopes. It has been voted the best Finnish ski resort of the year on numerous occasions and has hosted the first Alpine skiing World Cup slalom race since 2004. The amenities found in town, with bars, restaurants, stores, a spa and children's activities, are conveniently located in the center, within walking distance of most hotels. Collection of the thermal equipment that we will be able to use during our stay in Levi. Accommodation.
DAY 2 – VISIT TO THE ELVES VILLAGE, MEETING WITH SANTA CLAUS AND SNOWSHOEING TOUR
Breakfast. In the morning, transfer to the village of the Elves. On arrival, you will be met by an elf who will give you a secret map of the area and guide you through the magical forest. You will follow the elf to the gingerbread house, where you can bake delicious cookies. At the goblin school, you can learn some of their secret skills. You'll also visit the “wise elf's house”, where you can find a crystal eye in the ceiling. Along the way, the elves will help you find magical places and tell you stories about their life in the village. Finally, the most awaited moment: meeting Santa Claus! Each family will be able to meet him, hand in their letter and have their photo taken. Santa Claus will give a present to each child under the age of 10. Return by bus to Levi. Lunch. In the afternoon, head to the safari office to get your snowshoes. Accompanied by your guide, you will walk along an easy forest trail that will take you to a frozen lake. Stop to enjoy the campfire while having a hot drink and cookies. Return to Levi. Accommodation.
DAY 3 – SNOWMOBILE SAFARI AND ICE FISHING
Breakfast. Transfer to the safari office to collect the helmet and gloves needed for the safari. The guides will give instructions on use and safety rules. The adults will share the snowmobile, while the little ones will do the activity on the sled driven by the guide. Discover how much fun it is to ride a snowmobile through rivers and forests. Along the way, the guide will choose a good spot to dig a hole in the ice and, with a bit of luck, fish will be waiting to be caught. Break for a light lunch by the fire and drinks to warm up. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 4 – HUSKY SLED DOG SAFARI AND SPA
Breakfast. In the morning, departure to a husky farm where barking huskies will welcome you. Before starting the excursion you'll receive instructions on how to control the sled in which you'll travel in pairs. Set off into the wilderness with our team of huskies. During the 5km ride we will enjoy the wild beauty and take pictures at the farm. Hot drinks and cookies will be served at the nearby kota. After the tour, return to Levi for lunch. In the afternoon, walk on your own to the Water Wold Levi, where you can enjoy the best thermal recreation center in Levi with slides, pools, jacuzzis, saunas, children's area. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 5 – REINDEER SLEIGH RIDE
Breakfast. Transfer to a reindeer farm for a pleasant reindeer sleigh ride through a snow-covered forest. You will be able to feed these magnificent animals. After the ride, sit in a warm Lappish teepee for coffee, tea or chocolate, listen and learn about the interesting Sami history and culture, stories about Sami traditions and the secrets of reindeer herding. Return to our hotel by bus. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 6 – LEVI / KITTILÄ / BARCELONA
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to Kittilä airport. Boarding formalities and departure on a flight back. Arrival.
