Day 1 Naples
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 Naples / Capri / Naples
Breakfast. Departure by boat to the island of Capri, a wonderful expression of nature, history, and glamour. Visit to Villa San Michele. Time off for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to the Gardens of Augustus, where you can admire the famous Faraglioni and Marina Piccola. Time off for shopping, meeting with the group at the pier. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 Naples / Sorrento / Gragnano / Pompeii / Naples
Breakfast. Departure for Sorrento for a visit to the city. Continuation to Gragnano, the birthplace of pasta, where you can enjoy a multi-sensory and multimedia visit to an important pasta factory. Lunch with tasting of three types of pasta. In the afternoon, departure for Pompeii to visit the excavations that brought to light the remains of the ancient cities buried by ash during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Return to the hotel, dinner, and accommodation.
Day 4 Naples / Salerno
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the city by bus with a stop at Piazza del Plebiscito. Visit to the historic center of Naples where you can admire the church of Santa Chiara and its cloister, the cathedral of San Gennaro, the craft shops of San Gregorio Armeno, and the historic and monumental areas surrounding the city. Lunch during the excursion and pizza tasting. Then, guided tour of Via Toledo, admiring the Umberto I Gallery, Piazza Plebiscito, the exterior of the San Carlo Theater, the Royal Palace, the medieval castle of the Anjou, and Piazza del Municipio. Departure for the Salerno area. Arrival, dinner, and accommodation.
Day 5 Salerno / Positano / Amalfi / Salerno
Breakfast. Departure by regular boat to Positano, one of the most beautiful coastal villages in Italy. Time at leisure to stroll around before departing by regular ferry to Amalfi. Lunch in a restaurant and time at leisure. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 Salerno / Paestum / Salerno
Breakfast. Departure for Paestum. Visit to the production areas of “Mozzarella di Bufala Campana” with tasting. Then, visit the archaeological excavations of Paestum. Lunch. In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 Salerno / Caserta / Naples
Breakfast. Departure for Caserta to visit the majestic Royal Palace and Vanvitellian Park. Continuation to Naples, lunch, and afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 Naples
Breakfast. At a time to be arranged locally, transfer to the airport.
