DAY 1 – PORTUGAL / NEW YORK
Departure by plane to New York. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 2 – NEW YORK
Visit of upper and lower Manhattan, orientation tour of the city known as the “Big Apple” which includes the most important points of Manhattan: the Central Park area, the Harlem neighborhood, the residential sector, Museum Mile, the 5th Avenue shopping area, bohemian Greenwich Village, Soho with its galleries and boutiques, Chinatown, the civic center and Wall Street in the financial district, ending in Battery Park, from where you can see the Statue of Liberty. Accommodation.
DAY 3 – NEW YORK / PHILADELPHIA / WASHINGTON D.C.
Departure for Washington D.C. through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Arrival and city tour: Arlington Cemetery, Iwo Jima, Washington Monument, monuments to President Abraham Lincoln, Vietnam and Korean War memorials, outside the White House, Old Post Office Building and Capitol. Afternoon at leisure. Accommodation.
DAY 4 – WASHINGTON D.C.
Breakfast. Day at leisure. We recommend a visit to the Air and Space Museum (prior reservation required). Accommodation.
DAY 5 – WASHINGTON D.C. / LANCASTER / PHILADELPHIA / NEW YORK
Breakfast. Return to New York with a stop in the Amish community. Continue to Philadelphia, on arrival visit: Elfreth Road, the old Victorian quarter, Benjamin Franklin Boulevard with a stop in front of the Museum of Art and the Liberty Bell. Continue to New York. Arrival and accommodation.
DAY 6 – NEW YORK
Day at leisure. Optional visits possible. Accommodation.
DAY 7 – NEW YORK / PORTUGAL
Transfer to the airport to board the return flight. Night on board.
DAY 8 – PORTUGAL
Arrival.
Customers may choose any other hotel for their stay in New York, however, the meeting point for the start of the tour is Sheraton New York Times Square at 06h00, RIU Plaza New York Times Square at 06h20, and The New Yorker, Wyndham Hotel at 06h30. Transportation to the aforementioned hotels will be at the clients' expense.
